These two images were taken within a studio with a camera setup that included lights and a backdrop. Both of these images use Ansel Adams theory of the use of light to express a sense of masculinity and femininity. On the right is a male who's captured in a very dark light referring to masculinity and the opposite of rate female on the left.
For the final edit I am thinking about combining the to images to portray both masculinity and femininity within the same image.

This next image is of a matte glass chess piece sitting on a table. This image conforms to tone because of the use of light and the way it's reflecting on the glass from multiple angles which creates multiple shadows on the table and also creates shadows within the glass chess piece. My only criticism is the reflections on the table in the background.
This next image is of an old windowsill. It was taken during daytime so that the natural lighting would be reflecting through the window onto the cobweb to make the cobweb visible. The bright light coming in from the window also creates dark shadows parallel to where the light is entering from. There are a range of shadows and highlights which makes this the perfect image for tone in my opinion.

This next image of the flower bush holds many ombre colours and would therefore be perfect for creating shadows and highlights when editing. The image is also well lit which will make the highlights and shadows more clear to the audience.
This next image of the sky is similar to the image of the bush as I have the ability to perfectly create a contrasting shadow and highlight because of the light and the ombre and block colours presented within the image. Both of these images will be edited in black and white to further intensify the contrast of shadows and of the highlights within the image.
